FLUX - golden transport hub

The «FLUX – golden transport hub» is one of the most important awards in the public transport sector. The FLUX prize is awarded to a transport node which is highly rated by customers and is excellent both operationally and in terms of design. It is awarded every year by PostBus Switzerland Ltd (sponsor) and the Swiss Association of Public Transport (patron).

FLUX is a national prize and was first presented in 2007. FLUX honours the local authority that was jointly responsible for the design of the transport hub.

The winner is chosen by a specialist jury. It nominates several projects as contenders for the FLUX prize and then selects the winner according to pre-defined and objective evaluation criteria. In making its decision, the specialist jury pays particular attention to the specific focus of the award, which changes every year. Nominated projects must have been implemented in Switzerland within the last five years.
