PostBus raises salaries by 585 francs
585 francs more for all employees. The negotiation delegations of PostBus Switzerland Ltd and the trade unions Kommunikation and transfair agreed on this general salary measure. PostBus Switzerland Ltd will pay the total employee contribution (1%) towards the reorganization of the Swiss Post pension fund. PostBus Switzerland Ltd is also setting aside 0.3% of the total salary sum for individual performance-related compensation.
PostBus Switzerland Ltd and the unions reached agreement in the salary negotiations. The result for employees of PostBus Switzerland Ltd, who are subject to the collective employment contract for Swiss Post subsidiaries, is as follows:
- In 2010, employees will receive a general salary increase of 13 x 45 francs or 585 francs a year. The salary increase will be adapted to the respective degree of employment.
- PostBus Switzerland Ltd will take on the entire employee contribution of 1% of the insured salary for 2010 which will go towards reorganizing the Swiss Post pension fund.
- PostBus Switzerland Ltd is setting aside 0.3% of the total salary sum for individual compensation. These amounts are not insured
- Employees subject to the collective employment contract for auxiliary staff members (category b) will receive a general salary increase of similar proportions.
The decision-making bodies of PostBus Switzerland Ltd and the unions approved the result of the negotiations. The salary increase will be implemented retroactively to 1 January 2010.
