Profile of Western Switzerland

Introduction

The PostBus region of Western Switzerland is the number one in public road transport in the Western Switzerland region and operates 99 routes, 16 PubliCar regions, seven town routes and more than 50 school bus services.

We operate in five cantons:

  • Vaud (not including Chablais and the Alps)
  • Freiburg (not including the German-speaking area)
  • Jura
  • Berne (Bernese Jura and Plateau de Diesse)
  • Neuchâtel

Delémont and Yverdon-les-Bains each have a call centre for reservations (PubliCar).

We are also involved in five fare networks:

  • Mobilis (Vaud)
  • Frimobil (Freiburg)
  • Vagabond (Jura)
  • ABO zigzag (Biel/Bienne and region)
  • Onde Verte (Neuchâtel)
